The food certainly makes up for a lot. We were sat at a table. There's not much space in between each table so it feels like you are sitting on top of each other. The booths and the table/booths lining the perimeter looked more spacious and had good spacing in between them. Noise level fluctuates between not being able to hear my husband while we chatted to one or two conversations surrounding us. Ordered lemoncello to drink and eggplant parmesan with half marinara and half alfredo. The portion was excellent, but I felt the amount of sauce was less. I didn't have enough sauce for every bite I had. Husband had sweet tea and veal parmesan and he enjoyed it a lot. Service was good, but a bit slow. She told us we would get bread, but it was served after the main course arrived. She refilled my water, but didn't refill his sweet tea until the check was ready. For the cost in Mckinney it was reasonable, but I still prefer Schiano's in Richardson where I know the owner is from Italy and still cooks the food himself.

Venezia Trattoria in McKinney is an absolute gem. The moment we walked in, the warm welcome and cozy Italian ambiance set the tone for a great evening. The standout dish for us was the Shrimp Scampi. Service was excellent - friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Venezia Trattoria nails both authentic Italian flavors and top‑notch hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable Italian meal in McKinney.

It was pretty much what you expect from a non authentic Italian place. I think the only thing that tasted good was the garlic bread. We got mozzarella sticks, calamari, chicken piccata, kids fettuccine Alfredo, and chicken alfredo

Some of my coworkers brought me here for lunch today and wow, was it good!! The garlic bread was great along with the meatball appetizer. The salad that came with the lunch special was really good despite being a little small. I had the lasagna lunch special, which was a great size and honestly, I think the flavor of it rivals Maggiano’s which can be a little salty at times. They have a lot of great lunch specials, including lobster ravioli for great pricing. I will definitely be back here with my family soon. The waitress that we had was really friendly and professional, and she made great suggestions. I love to see the teamwork between the different waitresses and the hostess, which you don’t always see at restaurants. Definitely 5 out of 5 for me!

The food is real Italian flavors. Service very good and friendly. The place looks clean. We ordered the fried calamari to share. I ordered the lunch meal shrimps w/ linguini on lemon sauce. It was just delicious and good portion. Husbands ordered the meats pizza (real oven pizza) perfectly baked. They give complementary bread which was so freshly baked and delicious. It also has a little private area for about 20 people gathering and a large bar with TVs. I recommend this restaurant hands down.
